The Multi-Tube Vortexer is designed for mechanical and chemicalcell lysis, mixing suspensions, and general sample agitation. Thisvortex mixer gives a distinctly different motion than shaking asample. With vortexing, greater shearing forces are placed onmaterials in the bottom of a tube, thus promoting either disruptionor solubility. The Multi-tube Vortexer is the equipment to providethat extra degree of mixing. However, a single system canaccommodate full rack of tubes or micro well-plate, vials orcylinder as opposed to single tube vortexers.
